RALPH BUSBY JR.
Mr. Ralph Glen Busby, Jr., a resident of Okmulgee, passed from this life on Friday morning, February 7, 2014 from his home in Okmulgee.
  The Final Salute will be given on Friday, February 14, 2014 at 10:00 AM in the Chapel of Peace at the Keith D. Biglow Funeral Directors, Inc., of Okmulgee.
  Burial with Full Military Honors will be at 1:00 PM in the National Cemetery at Fort Gibson, Oklahoma.
  You may visit Mr. Busby, as he slumbers in peaceful repose at the funeral home on Thursday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM.


JAMES EDWARD GRIM
James Edward Grim, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 89. He was born October 31, 1924 to Jess and Eunice (Fleming) Grim in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. He served in the United States Army during WWII. He was member of the VFW Post 1189 Okmulgee at which he participated in the Funeral Honor Guard and was a lifetime member of the Elks Lodge in Okmulgee.
 He was preceded in death by his parents, Jess and Eunice Grim; son, Gary Grim; wife, Shirley Grim and three brothers, Preston, Tony and Gerald Grim.
  Survivors include his son, John Grim and wife, Jeannie of Okmulgee and daughter, Jonell Williams of Las Vegas, Nevada; sister, Ann Edwards and husband, Huland of Colleyville, Texas; brother, Derald Grim and wife, Lynette  of Clovis, New Mexico; granddaughter, Heather vonHartitzsch and husband, David; grandson, Michael Grim; three great grandchildren, August, Kylie and Lily vonHartitzsch and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
 Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at the Jackson Funeral Home in Okmulgee with Reverend Darren Ballard officiating. Burial will follow the service at the Okmulgee Cemetery under the direction of the Jackson Funeral Home and Crematory in Okmulgee.
 Pallbearers will be Michael Grim, Duane Grim, Tony Hale, David vonHartitzsch, Tony Fuller and Danny Fults.
 Military Honors will be conducted by the United States Army and the Patriot Guard Riders.
 Visitation will be Tuesday from 1:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and Wednesday from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee.

LAWRENCE RAY RODGERS
Lawrence Ray Rodgers, age 93, passed away at his home in Okmulgee February 8, 2014 after a long illness.  Lawrence was born January 14, 1921 in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma to Ray and Florence Rodgers.  He attended Central High School in Oklahoma City and also Oklahoma State Tech in Okmulgee.  
He joined the National Guard at an early age and was a veteran of WWII, serving proudly in the U.S. Army 132nd Americal Division and 132nd Infantry Division.  PFC Lawrence Rodgers served his country from 1942 to December 1945, receiving the Purple Heart, Bronze Star and numerous medals.  After the war, he went to work for ONG in 1946 as a meter reader in Oklahoma City and transferred to Okmulgee in 1949.  He was a customer service supervisor at the time of his retirement in 1983.
On August 15, 1953 he was united in marriage to the love of his life, Betty Ann Woods.  They shared a long and happy life of 60 years before his death.  His greatest enjoyment in life was his family and grandchildren.
Through the years, he attended Butler Memorial United Methodist Church before its closing.  After his retirement, he was able to pursue a new hobby, CB radio, that he shared with his son-in-law Mark.  He made many new friends through his years on the CB.
Lawrence was preceded in death by his mother and father, brother Francis Rodgers, brother and sister-in-law Donald Marvin and Marjorie Rodgers, a nephew Don Rodgers, Jr., an infant son, daughter Rae Kette, and a granddaughter Teresa.
He is survived by his wife Betty of the home, daughter and son-in-law Karen and Mark Wolhart of Okmulgee, daughter Barbara Clansen of New York, grandchildren Jeffrey Wolhart of Okmulgee and Ashley Wolhart of Okmulgee, Jolene and Candace, eight great grandchildren and nine great great grandchildren and a niece, Donna Lynn of Oklahoma City.
Viewing will be held at McClendon-Winters Funeral Home on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 from 12:00 pm to 8:00 pm and Thursday 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 pm Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Okmulgee Cemetery officiated by Reverend Rich Brasher of Schulter Methodist Church

HANK EDWARD SMITH
Hank Edward Smith, a longtime Okmulgee resident, died Saturday, February 8, 2014 at the age of 61.  He was born December 11, 1952 in Okmulgee to Lloyd Byron and Viola Evelyn (Hayden) Smith.  Hank graduated from Okmulgee High School and worked for many years as a foreman for Asplundh Tree Service.  He enjoyed fishing and playing pool.  He was preceded in death by his father, a sister, Viola Evelyn Tolbert and a brother,  Floyd Byron Smith.  Survivors include his mother, Viola Evelyn Smith of Okmulgee, a brother, Robert Smith of Tulsa, children, Hank and Derik Smith of Colorado and Minda Jones of Henryetta, his companion, Marlene Smurfat of Haskell, and numerous nieces and nephews.  A funeral service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday, February 13, 2014 at the Morris Cemetery Chapel with Mr. Paul Brown officiating.  Interment will follow in the Morris Cemetery.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

MARY LOU ARNOLD
Mary Lou Arnold, 82, of Henryetta, died    Saturday, February 8, 2014. A funeral service will be held at   2:00 PM Friday, February 14th, 2014 at the   United Pentecostal Church, Dewar, Oklahoma. Burial will be in the   New Sonora Cemetery under the direction of the Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.


HAROLD RAY REDFORD
Harold Ray Redford was born November 16, 1930 to Grover and Sylvia Redford in Henryetta,  OK.  He left this earth for his heavenly home February 9, 2014 at the age of 83.  Harold graduated from Dewar High School in 1950.  He was united in marriage to Betty McKinder on November 12, 1955.  Harold and Betty lived in Tulsa until May 2013 at which time they relocated to Springfield, MO.  Harold worked 36 years for the Frisco – Burlington Northern Rail Road as a brakeman and switchman and retired in 1991.  He was a faithful follower of Christ and very active at Emmanuel Church in Tulsa. He is survived by his wife Betty Redford; daughter Lisa Stovall and husband Bob of Springfield MO; grandchildren Brad and Lauren Stovall of Springfield MO. The family wishes to express heartfelt thanks to all of the relatives and friends of Harold and Betty who have filled their lives with endless love, companionship and care for so many years.  May God’s blessings be with you all. DEWEY T. HILL
Dewey T. Hill, a long-time resident of Lamar, Oklahoma passed from this life on Saturday, February 8, 2014 in Oklahoma City at the age of 65.  He was born on March 5, 1948 in Cromwell, Oklahoma to Tony E. Hill and Irene Simmer Hill.  
Dewey attended Jones Academy in Hartshorne, OK and later graduated from Bearden High School in 1966.  He served in the U.S. Army from 1969 to 1971 and was honorably discharged after two years of faithful service.  He had worked throughout his adult life as a heavy equipment operator.  Dewey enjoyed fishing, hunting, mowing grass at the church, and spending time with all his family. He especially enjoyed dressing up for Halloween and as Santa Claus for the Christmas holidays.  He was loved by his family and was a good friend to many people.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his brothers, William Hill, Louie Hill, and J.D Hill; and by his sisters, Emma Jones and Juanita Barnett.  
He is survived by his loving wife and partner, Josephine McGirt; a son, Sabin Givens of Alex City, Alabama; two daughters, Shannon Thompson Shields of Tulsa and Rosanna Deere of Sasakwa; two stepsons, Greg Miller of Ardmore and Nickolas Miller of Oklahoma City; a step-daughter, Nicole Miller of Wetumka; and by 11 grandchildren and 1 great grandson;  He also leaves behind three brothers, Stoney Hill, Bill Hill, and Toby Hill, all of Okemah; three sisters, Mallie, Christine and Wanda, all of Okmulgee; one aunt, Edith Harjo of Cromwell; as well as a host of nieces, nephews, other extended family and many good friends.
Viewing will be held at Integrity Funeral Service on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 from 11am until 3:30pm.  A wake service will be held on Tuesday evening at 7:00pm at Middle Creek #1 Church in Lamar.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 1:30pm at Middel Creek #1 Church in Lamar with Rev. Mark Smith and Rev. J.B. Fish officiating.  Interment will follow immediately at Hill-Simmer Cemetery near Cromwell, Oklahoma under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.
Pallbearers will be Tyler Hill, Adam Hill, Cruz Hill, Robert Coffey, Mike Coon, Mose Lindsey, Tyler Bible, and Greg Miller.  Honorary pallbearers will be Speedy Harjo, Tiny Hale, Leo Moppin, Jerome Hill, Norman Hill, Joseph Shields, and Nicholas Miller.


BILLY D. HUGHES
Billy Douglas Hughes, 92, a resident of Henryetta, died  Monday, February 10, 2014.      
Funeral services will be held 9:30 AM Thursday, February 13th, 2014 at the Integrity Funeral Service, Henryetta, Oklahoma
Burial will be at   3:00pm, Thursday, Mt. Hope Cemetery - Humbolt, Kansas under the direction of the Integrity Funeral Service of Henryetta.  


RosAnna Spears
 RosAnna Spears, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Friday, February 7, 2014 at the age of 58.  She was born on February 7, 1956 to Clifford and Violet (Miller) Kiplinger in Oklahoma City, Oklahoma.
 She was preceded in death by her parents, Clifford and Violet Kiplinger; aunt, Selina Kiplinger; aunt, Janie Miller and uncle, Lyn Miller.
  Survivors include her husband, Marcus Spears of the home; son: Lyndon Ray Spears, Okmulgee Police Officer, and wife, Leah Spears of Morris; two step-daughters, Manda Englebright of Arlington, TX and Jaye Spears of Atwater, CA;  four brothers, Charles Kiplinger and wife, Corine of Cromwell, James, Jesse and Carl Kiplinger, all of OKC; sisters, Thelma Mills and Joyce Messic, both of OKC; grandchildren, Kaedin Spears, Ariana Carpenter, Ava Spears, Mia Spears, Chelsea, Dalton Smith and Vincent Englebright; two grandsons and numerous other relatives and friends.
 Memorial Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, February 17, 2014 at the Jackson Funeral Home Chapel in Okmulgee.

Kathleen Nicholson
Kathleen Francis Nicholson, 72, former Seminole, Oklahoma resident passed away, Thursday, February 6, 2014 at Depew, Oklahoma. Kathleen was born September 21, 1941 in Seminole, Oklahoma to parents, Bert Drumright and Jewel Gertrude (Carriger) Drumright.
Kathleen grew up playing around her dad’s Electrical Shop and after graduating from Seminole High School, she began working as a bookkeeper and clerk for him.
Kathleen, at the age of 17, married the man of her dreams, Billy Gene Nicholson in Anadarko, Oklahoma on October 11, 1957. Billy passed away March 1, 2005. In 1968 Kathleen and her family moved to Okmulgee, Oklahoma where she worked for Key Rexall Drug, she felt her life was full and complete. She was a member of the Eastside Assembly of God Church in Okmulgee, Oklahoma. She retired in Okmulgee until the loss of her husband, Bill, she then moved to Sapulpa, Oklahoma to be with her children.
Kathleen was a hard worker all her life, she kept books, clerked and was a full time wife and mother. She had an ear for music, and she loved to play the piano. She would play at home for her children and they inherited her talent for music. Kathleen was a Godly woman who loved the Lord all her life, always had a smile, laugh, and a joke. She was very bubbly.
Kathleen had a strong love for animals from her pet rabbit to her “mystery animal”, she loved and kept them all safe; she was partial to kittens though. She was also very proud that she never had a flat tire.
Kathleen is survived by three sons, Tim Nicholson of Depew, Oklahoma, Ricky Nicholson of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Mike Nicholson of Lee’s Summit, Missouri; one daughter, Tina Taylor of Sapulpa, Oklahoma; one brother, Dale Drumright of Seminole, Oklahoma and two sisters, Fern Cecil of Seminole, Oklahoma and Dixie Billings of Floresville, Texas. Kathleen is also survived by her grandchildren, Brad Nicholson, Paxton Nicholson, Riley Nicholson, Lindsey Friday, Colby Nicholson and Denver Nicholson.
Kathleen was preceded in death by her parents, Bert and Jewel Drumright; husband, Billy Nicholson and one grandson, Daniel Nicholson.
Funeral services will be held 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 14, 2014 at Swearingen Funeral Home Chapel with her grandson Brad Nicholson officiating.
Casket bearers are: Larry Taylor, Tim Nicholson, Ricky Nicholson, Mike Nicholson, Dale Drumright, Monte Hallmark and John Nicholson.
Services are under the direction of Swearingen Funeral Home of Seminole, Oklahoma.

Mikiel “Mike” Ransom, a former resident of Okmulgee, passed away Tuesday, February 4, 2014 in Grove, Oklahoma at the age of 71.

STEVE HANKINS
Steve Hankins found his eternal resting place Friday January 31, 2014 in Okmulgee, Oklahoma.
Steve was loved by many people in this town. He ran Hankins Building Company with his dad for over 20 years, until he took it over in 2002. Steve ran the Guitar Center on Main Street until they closed its doors. If you knew him, you knew that he was an incredibly hard worker who loved to make people happy. For many years he ran the Okmulgee Gun Slingers, a group who reenacted a time he and his close friends loved... The old west and the cowboys who made it such a loved period in time. They performed at the Okmulgee Pecan festival for many many years. Steve loved to be out on the lake fishing, or out at his good friends' land lease enjoying being in the open air, camping and shooting targets. Most of all, He loved spending time with his grandchildren. He went from this life happy.
Steve was born on December 4, 1956 in Gridley California to Bob and Betty Hankins.
He is proceeded in death by his Father, Bob Hankins and Grandparents, Robert and Mae Shackelford of California and Louie and Ola Hankins of Okmulgee.
Steve is survived by many loved ones who will miss him dearly.
His mother Betty Hankins of Okmulgee, Sister Donna Conway of Okmulgee, 3 children. Daughter, Brooke Provence and husband Mickey of Okmulgee, 2 sons, Peter Hankins and girlfriend Amanda Cowell of Okmulgee and Garrett Hankins and wife Michelle of Nevada Missouri; Mother of his children and friend Jayme Hankins of Okmulgee, Niece, Heather Conway-Jeminez and husband Carlos and Lee Conway and wife Tish of Duncan Oklahoma. 3 great nieces and nephew Alea, Elle, Nova and Andy; His Pride and Joy, 6 grandchildren Noah and Bella Hankins, Evan and Sawyer Grey Provence and Jayde and Kaliecia Carswell.
A service to celebrate Steve's Life was held 10:00 A.M. Monday, February 3, 2014 at the First Baptist Church of Okmulgee.   Arrangements were under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

DEBORAH LYNN HUMPHREYS
Deborah Lynn Humphreys, longtime Okmulgee resident, died Friday evening, January 31, 2014 in Okmulgee at the age of 57.  Deborah was born March 27, 1956 in Haskell, Oklahoma to Alfred and Wilma Jean (Barnes) Adkins.  She moved to Okmulgee with her family as a child and attended Okmulgee Public Schools.  She later graduated from OSU Tech with her LPN.  Deborah served as Okmulgee City Court Clerk for over 10 years before returning to nursing.  She worked at Miami Terrace as well as other health care centers in Okmulgee.  She truly loved working with the elderly and the patients at Miami Terrace.  Deborah married Ed Humphreys on April 23, 1992 at the First Presbyterian Church in Okmulgee.  Deborah and Ed had recently purchased a trike and were enjoying their time with the Southern Cruiser Riding Club.  She was preceded in death by her parents and two sisters, Joyce Johnson and Sharon Whitlow.  Surviving is her loving husband, Ed Humphreys, of the home, daughters, Joy Adkins and Crystal Jefferson, both of Tulsa, sons, Troy Jefferson of Okmulgee and Aaron Humphreys of the home, five grandchildren, a sister, Jackie Humphreys and husband Joe of Eston, Saskatchewan, Canada, three brothers, Stanley Adkins of Florida, Mark Adkins and wife Sylvia of McAlister and Robert Adkins and wife Kay of Oklahoma City and numerous nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held 1:00 P.M. Friday, February 7, 2014 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend J. Rogers Spencer officiating.  Honorary Casketbearers will be Aaron Humphreys, Kendall Adkins, Mark Adkins, Lequay Adkins and Wendell Adkins.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Thursday from 12:00 P.M.-8:00 P.M.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.


Alfred C. Rhodes
 Alfred C. Rhodes, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at the age of 66.
 Memorial Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, March 7, 2014 at the Jubilee Christian Center in Okmulgee.

ARTHUR RAY HENDERSON
Arthur Ray Henderson, 65 year old resident of Muskogee, OK died on February 1, 2014 at his home surrounded by his loving family.  He was born November 26, 1948 in Tulsa OK to Elmer Eugene and LoVona Mae (Combs) Henderson.  On January 17, 1970 in Okmulgee, OK he married Gloria Eno, a high school classmate.  After graduating high school, Arthur attended Tulsa Welding School.  He then joined the United States Army and served in Vietnam.  He was awarded numerous medals for his service.  After his service he moved back to Okmulgee for a short time and he then moved to Colorado where he worked for Coors Brewery in Golden.  Due to medical reasons, Arthur retired from Adolph-Coors after 33 years of service.  He and Gloria moved to Muskogee to be close to family so he could golf and fish with his brother-in-law, Johnny Rhodes.  He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Gloria; 2 sons, James Leon (Karen) Henderson of Cherokee, OK and Arthur Eugene Henderson of North Glen, CO; 1 daughter, Kellie Rae Henderson of Evergreen, CO; step-mother, Mickey Henderson; sister, Lutricia Baxter (Larry) of Winter Haven, FL; brothers and sisters-in-law, Galen and Judie Cornwell of Olathe, KS and Johnny and Gail Rhodes of Muskogee, OK; grandchildren, Gregory Tate Henderson-Beemer, Samantha Nicole Henderson, Makalah Noel Henderson, Olivia Grace Marlowe and special grandchildren, Alex, Grace, Daniell, Linda, and Faith Marlowe, along with their mother, Cyndi Marlowe, Blake and Presley Payne and their parents, Billy and Penny Payne; Numerous nieces and nephews; and his beloved dogs, Tory, Bubbles and Buffy.  Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 11:00 am in the First Baptist Church of Muskogee, OK.  Reverend Dr. Craig Long will officiate.  Honorary Pallbearers will include Charlie Taylor, Bill Allison, Troy Perry, Darrell Chocolatae, and Waylon West.  The Henderson family wishes to thank the V.A. Dora Mae Kaler, a lifelong resident of Hitchita, Oklahoma died Sunday, February 1, 2014 in Henryetta, OK at the age of 83.
Viewing will be from 12pm - 8pm at Integrity Funeral Service on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 and from 8am-11am on Thursday, February 6, 2014.
Funeral Services are scheduled for Thursday, February 6, 2014 at 2:00pm at the Hitchita Freewill Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Carson, officiating. Interment will follow at Lackey Cemetery in Hitchita, Oklahoma under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.

GEORGE HOLDEN
George Albert Holden, a resident of Spavinaw, Oklahoma, died  Saturday, February 1st, 2014 in Tulsa, Oklahoma at the age of 63.
A funeral service for George will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at 2:00pm at Integrity Chapel, 410 E. Trudgeon in Henryetta with Rev. Rick Nance officiating. Interment will follow immediately at Morris Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.


ZENOBIA MANNING
Zenobia Manning, 93, homemaker, a resident of Plano, TX; formerly of Grayson, OK; passed away Saturday, February 1, 2014.
A Funeral Mass for Zenobia Manning will be conducted Saturday, February 8, 2014, 11:00 a.m., Uganda Martyrs Catholic Church, 303 E. 3rd Street, Okmulgee, OK.  Interment will follow in Sacred Heart Cemetery, Grayson, OK.
Visitation will be Friday, 1-6 p.m. A Rosary will be held immediately following the visitation.
The family has been cared for by the Winn family at House of Winn Funeral Home.

CHARLA JO WATTS
Charla Jo Watts was born May 20, 1960 in Kendallville, Indiana to Charles Gibson, Sr. and Saundra Jo (King) Gibson.  She passed away February 2, 2014 at her home in Okmulgee at the age of 53.  Charla enjoyed reading, NASCAR and football.  She had a big heart and was loved by many.  Charla married James Watts, Sr. on July 31, 1978.  She worked for many years as a home health care provider.
She was preceded in death by her mother and husband.  Survivors include her father, Charles Gibson, Sr., three children, Amanda Watts, James Watts, Jr., and Sheena Brown, three grandchildren, Nakyla Watts, Jimmy Watts III and Gypsi Brown and three brothers, Charles Gibson, Jr., Stanley Gibson and James Irwin.  Charla is also survived by many adopted children and grandchildren, all who called her “mom”.
A Service to Celebrate Charla’s Life will be held 2:00 P.M. Wednesday, February 5, 2014 at the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Harold White officiating.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

Jeraldine (Jerry) Brady Martin
Jeraldine (Jerry) Brady Martin, age 84, of San Antonio, Texas, went to Heaven to see her Lord Jesus on Wednesday, January 29, 2014. She was born in Earlsboro, Oklahoma on June 21, 1929 to Camillous Ray and Estella (Batterton) Brady. She was married to Harold Edward Martin on January 29, 1948. They lived in Okmulgee, OK until relocating to Kansas City, Kansas where they lived for forty years. She was an active member of First Southern Baptist Church in Kansas City. After moving to Texas, she was active at First Baptist Church in Los Fresnos and Village Parkway Baptist Church in San Antonio. She was a kind and loving person who was loved by all who knew her. She enjoyed going out to eat, laughing with family and friends, sewing, and jigsaw puzzles. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brothers, Ray, Arliss, Waldo, and Kenneth, as well as her sister, Beulah Brady. Jerry is survived by two children:  Charlotte Calderoni of San Antonio and Tracy Case and husband, Barry; three grandchildren, Giovanna Calderoni of San Antonio, Kyle McCullough and Matthew Case of Kansas City; a sister, Margie Morton of Norman, OK; and a brother, Marvin Brady and wife, Mary of Okmulgee, OK; numerous nieces and nephews; and extended family.
SERVICES
Visitation will be on Friday, January 31, 2014 from 4:00 P.M. to 6:00 P.M. at Mission Park Funeral Chapels North in San Antonio, TX. The Service will be on Saturday, February 1, 2014 at 10:00 A.M. at the Funeral Home Chapel. A Graveside Service will be on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Rose Lawn Memorial Gardens in Brownsville, TX. Alfred C. Rhodes, a resident of Okmulgee, passed away Monday, January 27, 2014 at the age of 66.

HATTIE IDA HOLDAWAY

Hattie Ida Holdaway was born June 4, 1916 and died January 30, 2014 at the age of 97. Hattie was born in Hammond, Missouri to the late Park & Corda (Absher) Hash. She married Alonzo Otto Holdaway (Deceased) on November 12, 1934 in Davenport and from this marriage there were four children, Fred Holdaway, Neta Carlene Slayton, Johnny Delbert Holdaway (Deceased) and Ronnie Gene Holdaway.  She had twelve grandchildren, many great and great great grandchildren. She enjoyed sewing, quilting, gardening, and raising flowers. She collected salt and pepper shaker sets from all over the world. She worked at the Senior Citizen Center at Beggs, Oklahoma as a cook’s helper for many years.
 Funeral services will be held at the Nuyaka Baptist Church on Monday, February 3, 2014 at 1:00 PM.  Reverend Jarrod Kendall will officiate.  Interment will follow in the Davenport Cemetery, Davenport, Oklahoma.  Casketbearers will be James Crossland, Scott Lewis, Lance Riley, Bob Kelley, Rusty Copenhaver and J. D. Chambers.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Sunday from 12:00 PM – 6:00 PM.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.

Ralph Leonard Fisher
Ralph Leonard Fisher passed away at his home in Okmulgee on Saturday, January 25, 2014, at the age of 77 years.
 Ralph was the son of Henry N. Fisher & Delta (Casey) Fisher, born on May 26, 1936, in Bowlegs, Oklahoma.  He was brought up in southern Hughes and Seminole counties, including the Tate community and the town of Allen.  He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean War.  He married Shirley M. Springer in November, 1957, and later married Clara F. Crow on May 26, 1968.  He lived for a while in California, Oregon, Texas, Nebraska, and Arizona before settling in Okmulgee, his home for the past thirty-three years.  He loved quilting, pen making, visiting with his grandchildren, and Friday the dog.
 He is preceded in death by his parents, Henry & Delta Fisher;  his first wife, Shirley;  his son, Michael E. Fisher, and daughter, Johnnie Sue Fisher Ayers;  his daughter-in-law Sheila Crow;  his brother Don L. Fisher.
 He is survived by his beloved wife of 45 years, Clara;  six sons: Ralph L. Fisher Jr. and wife Cory, Don E. Fisher, E. I. Fisher, Darrell R. Crow and wife Mellissa, Brian C. Crow and wife Raamya, David W. Crow and wife Joy, and Henry N. Fisher II;  one daughter, Tommie M. Fisher Center and husband Kevin; twenty-five grandchildren and nineteen great grandchildren;  three sisters and one brother: Frances Masuda, Nancy Wright, Susan Kirshner, and John Fisher;  nieces and nephews, great nieces and great nephews, too numerous to mention by name;  other relatives, and many friends.
Funeral services were held on Monday, January 27, 2014, 4:00 p.m. at World Outreach Center of Okmulgee, with Pastor John Fisher officiating.  Pallbearers were Ralph Fisher Jr., Don Fisher, E. I. Fisher, Darrell Crow, Brian Crow, David Crow, and Henry Fisher II.
 Ralph was laid to rest in the Tate Mountain Cemetery at Wewoka on Tuesday, January 28, 2014, 2:00 p.m.

John Thomas Capriotti, Jr.
John Thomas Capriotti, Jr., a resident of Okmulgee, died Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa.  He was 50 years of age.  John was born May 7, 1963 in Houston, Texas to John Thomas Capriotti, Sr. and Montra Rose (Morgan) Capriotti.  John spent most of his life in Texas where he enjoyed fishing and being on the beach.  He loved watching college and professional football and hanging out with friends at the picnic table.  John served his country in the U.S. Army.  He married Darla Carey on August 15, 1999 in Houston, Texas.  He was preceded in death by his mother and his mother-in-law, Mary Carey.  Survivors include his wife, Darla Carey Capriotti of Okmulgee, an aunt, Liz Morgan, of Okmulgee, children, Casandra Capriotti of Midland, Texas, John Thomas Capriotti III of Odessa, Texas, Rena K. Durrett of Mesquite, Texas, and Joshua I. Carey of Liberty Hill, Texas, six grandchildren and numerous other family and friends.  Services will be held in Texas at a later date.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Okmulgee.

LaDONNA JANE GRAMMER
LaDonna Jane Grammer, 60, of Beggs, passed away Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Hillcrest Heart Hospital in Tulsa. She was born May 11, 1953 in Clinton, Oklahoma to the late Jack Freeman and Peggy Jane (Reed) Catlett. LaDonna married Don Grammer on June 18, 1970 in Okmulgee. She loved life and being with her grandkids. She was a faithful member of the Preston Assembly of God.
LaDonna is survived by her husband of 43 years, Don, of Beggs, a daughter, Toni Trevier and husband Jeremy of Sparks and children Tyler, Gauge, Katy and Kodi, a son, Matt Grammer and wife Amber of Beggs and children Logan and Mason, a brother, Larry Catlett and wife Ruth of Preston, two sisters, Connie McElhannon and husband DeWayne of Okmulgee and Rita Pope of Ft. Gibson and numerous nieces and nephews.
A service to celebrate LaDonna’s life will be held at a later date. Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.



HERMAN CLEVELAND STEWART
Herman Cleveland Stewart, longtime Beggs resident, died Wednesday morning, January 22, 2014 at his home.  He was 99 years of age.  Herman was born November 20, 1914 in Hughes County to the late Alfred Cleveland and Jessie Lona (Spangler) Stewart.  He married Dorothy Marie Sparks on September 16, 1935 in Beggs.  Herman spent his life working as a farmer.  He also worked as a substitute mail carrier for many years and built fences and barns for others.  Herman loved fishing and was a member of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows as well as the Masonic Lodge.  He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, three sisters, and a brother.  Survivors include his daughter, two grandchildren, five great grandchildren, two great great grandchildren, and a brother.
A graveside service will be held 1:00 P.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Oakwood Cemetery in Mounds with Pastor Travis Markes officiating.  Friends may visit the funeral home on Friday from 12-8 PM.  The family would like to thank Grace Hospice for their exceptional care.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.


JAMES R. HENSON SR.
James R. Henson, Sr., resident of Beggs, passed away Tuesday morning, January 21, 2014 in Henryetta at the age of 83.  He was born January 16, 1931 in Okmulgee to the late Robert Oscar and Gladys Evelyn (Lawson) Henson.  He attended Preston High School , East Central University, Oklahoma State University and the University of Tulsa, receiving a Masters and Professional Degree.  James proudly served his country in the United States Army.  James married Joan Gray on February 20, 1954 at the First Baptist Church in Okmulgee.   James worked for schools in Okmulgee County, including Wilson, Twin Hills, and Preston where he coached, taught and served as principal. He was a principal and coach at Beggs for two years then served as Superintendent of Beggs Public Schools for 20 years, retiring in 1990.  James enjoyed gardening and building homes and the fellowship hall at the church.  He had served as a Deacon at First Baptist Church in Beggs and was a member of the Crossroads Baptist Church.  He was a member of the Beggs Masonic  Lodge, School Masters Association, Okmulgee County Excise Board, the Okmulgee County Health Department Board and former President and member of the Secondary Schools Association.  James loved kids and was always there to help those in need.  He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Mary Lou Cline and Joanna Lloyd and a brother, Roald Henson.  Survivors include his wife Joan of Beggs, daughter, Janet Lile and husband Travis of Arlington, Texas, a son, Jim Henson, Jr., of Grandfalls, Washington, two grandchildren, Kimberly Baker and Taylor Lile, a great grandchild, Christian James Baker and two brothers, David Henson and wife Judy of Wilson and Ralph Henson and wife Carol of Tulsa.  
A funeral service will be held 10:00 A.M. Saturday, January 25, 2014 at the Crossroads Baptist Church with Pastor Travis Markes officiating.  Interment will follow in the Beggs Cemetery.  Casketbearers Leslie Johnston, Bill Anderson, Larry Harvey, Buz Henson, Jerry Cadion and Steve Swanson.  The Deacons of the Crossroads Baptist Church will serve as honorary casketbearers.  Arrangements are under the direction of the McClendon-Winters Funeral Home of Beggs.


MARY ROSE SPIEHLER
Mary Rose Spiehler 86, entered into Eternal rest January 21, 2014. She is survived by one son,  Victor Mariano Sr. (wife Glenda, sons Victor, Jr, Michael) Mariano, four daughters Jeanne Sirey,  Andrea Spiehler (children Christopher, Crystal, Donivan Murphy), Annalora Spiehler and  husband David, Trina Spiehler, 8 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

Ilean Radebaugh a resident of Henryetta, passed away Tuesday, January 21, 2014 at her home in Henryetta, at the age of 97. Funeral services are scheduled for Saturday, January 25, 2014 at 11:00am, at the First United Methodist Church (1212 Lake Road) in Henryetta with Rev. Kyle Kiner, officiating. Interment will follow at Westlawn Cemetery under the direction of Integrity Funeral Service.
